Covid-19 will also make the transition to Bharat Stage Six (BS-VI) emission norms difficult which is scheduled from April 2020<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b>Government Actions<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0<b> March 21<\/b><b>st<\/b><b>, 2020<\/b>, the\u00a0Union Cabinet\u00a0approved incentives worth\u00a0\u20b940,995\u00a0crore\u00a0(US$5.7\u00a0billion) for electronic manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>FM Sitaraman has announced on <b>March 26<\/b><b>th<\/b><b>, 2020,<\/b> a Package of Rs.1.7Cr Lakh (Rs.1700 Billion)\u00a0 for the benefits of various section of society.<\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0<b> March 28<\/b><b>th<\/b><b>, 2020, <\/b>the <b>Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister<\/b> launched a new fund called\u00a0<b><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/PM_CARES_fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PM CARES fund<\/a><\/b>\u00a0for combating such situations and Donations to PM CARES Fund would qualify for 80G benefits for 100% exemption under the Income Tax Act, 1961.<\/p>\n<p>On <b>April 3<\/b><b>rd<\/b><b>, 2020<\/b> the Central Government (CG) released<b>\u00a0\u20b917,287\u00a0crore <\/b>(US$2.4\u00a0billion) to different states to help combat coronavirus. The\u00a0Ministry of Home Affairs\u00a0approved\u00a0\u20b911,092\u00a0crore\u00a0(US$1.6\u00a0billion) for states as relief under the State Disaster Risk Management Fund.<\/p>\n<p>On <b>April 21<\/b><b>st<\/b><b> 2020,<\/b>\u00a0it was announced that a team from &#8220;The Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council&#8221; (TIFAC)&#8221; under the\u00a0Department of Science and Technology\u00a0are preparing a <b>white paper on the revival of the India economy. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Apart from above on\u00a0<b>March 26<\/b><b>th<\/b><b> ,2020,<\/b>\u00a0India participated in the virtual <b>&#8216;Extraordinary G20 Leaders\u2019 Summit<\/b>&#8216;. The <b>G20 nations <\/b>decided to <b>inject over $5 trillion<\/b> into the global economy to counteract the pandemic&#8217;s impacts.
